Bachillerato Dual 2016-2017
Esta semana tuvo lugar la prueba de acceso del programa de Bachillerato Dual para el curso de 2016-2017. Diez alumnos, quienes solicitaron la preinscripción en junio del curso anterior, realizaron un «test» de nivel de inglés para poder a acceder a este programa selecto. En los próximos días se notificarán de su admisión.
Desde 2012 Colegio los Naranjos oferta el el programa del Bachillerato Dual y se 
han graduado 6 alumnos del centro. El programa ofrece la oportunidad de obtener dos titulaciones simultáneamente: el Bachillerato del país de origen del alumno, de forma presencial y el bachillerato estadounidense, High School Diploma, en un entorno digital.
El sistema educativo estadounidense evalúa a los alumnos por conocimientos y capacidades. Considera que un alumno no tiene que estudiar la misma asignatura (matemáticas, fisíca, 
literatura…) en dos idiomas diferentes. Salvo aquellas materias específicas del país (lengua, cultura, historia…) De esta forma Academica International Studies puede convalidar al alumno hasta un 75% de los 24 créditos que se exigen para obtener el diploma High School. En nuestro centro, los alumnos deben de cumplir con éxito 6 créditos, incluyendo inglés, historia americana, gobierno & economía y varias optativas siempre cuando mantenga una nota promedia de 7,5.
Actualmente hay 14 alumnos cursando en el programa y 3 de ellos se graduarán al terminar el curso actual.

Dual Diploma 2016-2017
This week the Admissions Exam for the Dual Diploma 2016-2017 course was administered at our centre. Ten students who pre-registered for the course in the Spring 2016 took an exam to determine their level of English in order to enter this select program. In the following days, students will be notified of their acceptance.
The Dual Diploma Program has been offered at Los Naranjos since 2012 and has graduated six former alumnae. This program provides our students with the opportunity to obtain dual diplomas at the same time, a Spanish High School diploma in their home country in physical classes, and a United States High School diploma in a completely digital environment.
The US educational system evaluates students based on knowledge and skills.
Students are not required to study the same subjects (Mathematics, Physics, Literature, etc.) in both languages, but rather study the material that is specific to each country (Language, Culture, History, etc.). In this way Academica International Studies can accept up to 75% of the 24 required credits in order to obtain a High School degree. In our centre, students must successfully complete 6 credits in subjects such as English, American History, Government & Economics and various elective courses all while maintaining a 75 % GPA.
Currently there are 14 students participating in the program and this year 3 will graduate.
