Defensa Contra las Artes Oscuras es una asignatura de la rama de la magia especializada de autoprotección que consiste en la enseñanza de variadas técnicas, estrategias y habilidades para contrarrestar las Artes, Magos y las criaturas más peligrosas .
Su finalidad es buscar el bien de la comunidad mágica. La clase es una de las más anhelada por los alumnos, ya que la consideran como una fuente de inspiración y preparación real ante eventos peligrosos. La clase enseña hechizos que pueden ser letales, pero estos nunca se llevan al duelo hasta que el alumno esté realmente preparado y controlado por un profesor; los Duelos Avanzados no pueden usarse en otro ámbito más que en defensa propia.
Han aprendido hechizos como: Expelliarmus, Alohomora, Petrificus Totallus, Lumos Maximus, Flipendo, Crucio, Imperio, Avada Kedavra, etc.
Defense against Dark Arts is a magic related subject which focuses on self protection based on different skills, strategies and tecniques to counter the dark magic, some dark magicians and the most dangerous creatures. Its main purpose is to search for the good for the widarding community. It is one the favourite subject among our students, because they consider it like a source of power and they get ready for the dangerous events. This subject explains some spells that could be lethal, but they never use them in duel until they are really ready and controlled by a teacher. The Advanced Duels can’t be used more than in self defense.
Además hemos realizado duelos de magos para comprobar si han aprendido bien los hechizos a la vez que se divierten compitiendo contra las demás casas.
Also, we have done several wizarding duels to prove that they learnt correctly all the spells while they have fun competing and fighting against the other houses.

La Cámara de los Secretos, también conocida como Cámara Secreta, es una habitación secreta legendaria construida por Salazar Slytherin como hogar de un monstruo que pudiera terminar su “noble trabajo”. Este noble trabajo se completaría cuando su heredero abriera la Cámara y liberase al monstruo que vive en ella para limpiar la escuela de estudiantes que no eran sangre pura.
The Chamber of Secrets was created under the Dungeons of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry during Medieval times by Salazar Slytherin, who disagreed with the other Hogwarts founders on the merits of Blood Purity.
The Chamber of Secrets was home to an ancient Basilisk, which, according to legend, was intended to be used to purge the area of Muggle-born students. The Chamber was flanked with towering pillars that were entwined with carved wood, and the Statue of Slytherin was at the far end. The Basilisk resided within the mouth of Slytherin’s Statue, which possibly symbolised Slytherin’s ability to speak Parseltongue. Sometime before 1992, the chamber flooded.
Hoy hemos descubierto que la cámara de los secretos realmente existe y está escondida en las mazmorras de la escuela mágica de Los Naranjos. Hemos abierto la puerta secreta hablando parsel, nos hemos encontrado el diario misterioso de Tom Sorvolo Rydle, hemos resuelto diferentes desafios mediante pistas e incluso nos hemos enfrentado a un Basilisco gigantesco. Finalmente hemos destruido el diario, utilizando un colmillo de basilisco que hemos tenido que buscar por todo el recorrido durante la cámara de los secretos. Será mejor que la cámara vuelva a estar cerrada para siempre!
Today we discovered that the Chamber of Secrets exists and that it is hidden in the dungeons of Los Naranjos Wizarding School. We opened the door by speaking in Parseltongue , we found the mysterious diary of Tom Marvolo Riddle, we completed different tests, solved some mysteries and we even fought with a giant Basilisk! We have finally destroyed the diary, by stabbing it with a Basilisk’s fang that we had to search through all the places of thr chamber. The Chamber of Secrets need to be closed again and never ever
