Fomentamos el aprendizaje colaborativo en nuestras clases de Inglés como técnica didáctica que promueve el aprendizaje. El alumnado con diferentes niveles de habilidad utiliza una variedad de actividades de aprendizaje para mejorar su aprendizaje sobre la lengua inglesa tanto escrita como oral.

FUN PLACES TO VISIT
We have been learning how to make an information board about “Fun places to visit” in your city with 4º primary students.
The students have had to create an information board about the places they would like to visit and then have had to present it in front of the rest of the students in class.
They have worked in pairs and even though most of them have chosen the app “keynote” to create the board, some have decided to do the project manually or both ways.
They’ve been practising English and have enjoyed working together a lot. They have all done an amazing job and given a great presentation.
En 4º de primaria hemos estado aprendiendo como hacer un folleto de información de sitios donde divertirse en tu ciudad.
Los alumnos han tenido que crear un folleto de información acerca de los sitios que les gustaría visitar y después presentarlo al resto de la clase.
Han tenido que trabajar en parejas y aunque la mayoría ha elegido hacer el proyecto con la aplicación “Keynote”, otros han elegido hacerlo manualmente o de las dos formas.
Han disfrutado mucho y practicado inglés durante la elaboración de los proyectos.

MINIBEASTS FACTS
With 5th primary students we have learnt interesting facts about “minibeasts”.
Working in pairs the students had to make a list of minibeasts, chose a different kind of mini beast each, make notes about it looking look up on internet and write a fact card about they insect they have chosen.
They’ve had a lot of fun creating their cards either manually or with the “keynote” app, we’ve discovered amazing facts about Beetles, the praying mantis, the leopard moth, butterflies and dragonflies and we have even played some “Kahoot” games created by the students.
The students have done their presentations in English which have been ver good and have enjoyed working as a team.
Con los alumnos de 5º de primaria hemos aprendido mucha información interesante acerca de algunos insectos.
Han trabajado en parejas y han tenido que hacer una lista de insectos, elegir el que mas les ha gustado y escribir acerca de ellos buscando información en internet del insecto elegido por cada pareja.
Se han divertido mucho creando sus tarjetas manualmente o utilizando la aplicación de “Keynote”, hemos descubierto información asombrosa de los escarabajos, la mantis religiosa, la polilla leopardo, las mariposas y las libélulas y hemos jugado a juegos de “Kahoot” creados por los mismos estudiantes.

PROJECT
3-D POSCARD FROM AN ANCIENT PLACE
The 6º primary project has consisted of writing a postcard from a chosen ancient place to an imaginary friend.
Together we have visited various ancient places such as, “The Red Square in Moscow”, “Easter Island”, “the Coliseum in Rome”, “Giza pyramids” and “The great wall of China”,
The students had to use lots of different materials of their election and have done a great job creating the 3-D cards in which in one side they have written the postcard and in the other side they have created 3-D different monuments.
They’ve worked in pairs and have done their corresponding presentations in English.
The’ve have enjoyed the experience and can’t wait to see which will the next project be.
El proyecto de 6º de primaria ha consistido en escribir una postal desde un sitio antiguo a un amigo imaginario.
Juntos hemos podido visitar sitios antiguos como “La plaza roja de Moscú”, “La isla de Pascua”, “El coliseo de Roma”. Las Pirámides de Giza” y “La gran muralla China”.
Los estudiantes han elegido diferentes materiales para poder crear la postal en 3-D y han hecho un gran trabajo, en un lado de la postal han escrito a su amigo y en el otro lado han creado los diferentes monumentos.ç
Han trabajado en parejas y han hecho sus presentaciones en inglés, han disfrutado mucho con esta experiencia y están deseando ya saber cual será el próximo proyecto.

PROJECTS 360º
In English class 1st ESO A & B have been learning about how astronauts live in a spaceship going on a space mission, their daily routines, hygienic habits, etc…
After that they have done a project 360º in which they have created a questionnaire to select a new team of volunteers for the next Mars simulation mission.
They have also discovered the most popular board and card games in England and the U.S.A. which, after all, are very similar to ours, Uno, Jenga, taboo…..
Fo this project they had to design a board game in pairs that has been very satisfactory in which each one of them has done an excellent job as they have had an amazing imagination and have enjoyed the process a lot.
Not only have they created great games but also they have worked with “keynote” and have created “Kahoot” games.
The students have learnt how to work as a team and how to present them to the rest of the class and “of course” have played them.
En clase de inglés los alumnos de 1º ESO A y 1º ESO B han aprendido acerca de la vida de los astronautas en una misión espacial, como viven estos en una nave espacial, sus hábitos diarios de higiene, comidas y rutinas diarias.
Después han tenido que hacer un proyecto en 360º en el que han tenido que formular un cuestionario para una selección de voluntarios a una próxima misión simulada a Marte.
También han descubierto juegos de mesa típicos ingleses y americanos, que al fin y al cabo son muy parecidos a los nuestros, Uno, Jenga taboo….
En el siguiente proyecto los alumnos han tenido que diseñar un juego de mesa en parejas que ha resultado un trabajo muy satisfactorio en el que todos los estudiantes han hecho un excelente trabajo ya que han tenido una gran imaginación y han disfrutado mucho con el proyecto.
Además de haber hecho un juego de manualidades los estudiantes han creado trabajos con la aplicación “Keynote” y además han creado juegos en “Kahoot”.
Han aprendido a trabajar en equipo y han hecho la presentación de sus proyectos en inglés y hemos jugado a los juegos creados, por supuesto.
