Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is a book written by Newt Scamander detailing magizoology and describing magical creatures. It was a standard textbook at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry since it was written in 1927. It is also a compulsory subject for the magicians which focuses on the study of all magic creatures and beings.

Fue escrito por el célebre magizoologista Newt Scamander, y es un libro de texto estándar usado en el Colegio Hogwarts de Magia y Hechicería desde su primera edición, lanzada en 1927. Además es una de las asignaturas obligatorias que todo mago debe realizar, centrada en el estudio de las criaturas y seres mágicos.

They won’t only learn their names, they will also learn about their origins, diet and the places where they can find them.

Our younger witches and wizards have done an intesive study of the dragons, and they have adopted and created their own dragon. On the other hand, our more experienced magicians have known and created their own customed hippogriff. This subject improves their knowledge, vocabulary and creativity, making them believe in the magical creatures and working as a team to find them.
Nuestros brujos y brujas más jóvenes han realizado un estudio intensivo de los dragones y han creado y adoptado su propio dragón. Por otra parte, nuestros magos más experimentados han conocido y creado su propio hipogrifo personalizado. Esta asignatura mejora su vocabulario, conocimiento y creatividad, haciéndoles creer en criaturas mágicas y trabajar en equipo para encontrarlas.
