Our preschoolers have been on an exciting trip to the library.
We wanted to show the children the importance of literacy. Reading is an entertaining and enjoyable way of educating children helping them to develop their imagination and learn about the world around them, in addition, it improves their vocabulary, memory and concentration. Which contributes to greater mental agility while increasing their culture awareness.
We went to the library on our big red school bus, for some of the children it was the first time. When we got to the library the librarians were waiting for us singing songs. We learned some poetry and they read us stories, among them The Rainbow Fish, which teaches us a very important lesson, that when we share we all enjoy.
To end our visit we learned that the building where the library is used to be used for trains! Finally we made our last stop at the park to have our snack and enjoy playing outdoors. A fun day to repeat.

Nuestro alumnado de Infantil se ha ido de excursión nada más y nada menos que a la biblioteca.¡Qué ilusión! Hemos querido hacer partícipes a los pequeños y pequeñas de la importancia de la lectura.
La lectura es una manera entretenida y amena de educar a los niños y niñas, ayudándoles a desarrollar su imaginación y a aprender sobre el mundo que les rodea, además, mejora su vocabulario, su memoria y su concentración, lo que contribuye a una mayor agilidad mental y al aumento de su cultura.
En nuestra excursión los alumnos y alumnas se han subido por primera vez al autobús del colegio.
Al llegar a la biblioteca nos esperaban los responsables quienes nos cantaron canciones, aprendimos poesías y nos leyeron cuentos, entre ellos el pez arcoiris, que nos da una lección muy importante cuando compartimos y disfrutamos todos.
Para finalizar nuestra visita observamos que en el edificio donde nos encontrábamos, antiguamente pasaban trenes, esto nos ha permitido aprender más sobre los medios de transporte.
Por último hicimos nuestra última parada en el parque para comernos nuestro snack y disfrutar jugando al aire libre.
