Today, Primary students have celebrated “Thanksgiving day”. In 1621 European pilgrims arrived to America, where they were then helped by the Native Americans, who taught them how to farm and get food. Since then American people celebrate this day to be thankful for all the things they have.
After having watched a very nice video we have done various activities.
1st, 2nd and 3rd graders have read “The story of Thanksgiving” and have coloured the book afterwards.
4th and 5th graders have done “A pie craftivity” in which they have drawn and have coloured things that they are grateful of and done a “Thanksgiving Word Search”.
DÍA DE ACCIÓN DE GRACIAS – 25 DE NOVIEMBRE – DEPARTAMENTO DE INGLÉS
Hoy los alumnos de primaria han celebrado el “Día de Acción de Gracias”. En 1621 los peregrinos europeos llegaron a América donde fueron ayudados por los nativos americanos quienes les enseñaron a criar animales y encontrar comida. Desde entonces los americanos celebran este día para agradecer cada cosa que tienen.
Después del visionado del video hemos hecho diferentes actividades.
1º, 2º y 3º de primaria han leído “La historia del día de acción de gracias” y después han coloreado el libro.
4º y 5º de primaria han participado en una actividad en la que han escrito todo de lo que están agradecidos y han hecho una sopa de letras con vocabulario relacionado con esta festividad.
